I am a Professor of Bioethics at the Centre for Social Ethics and Policy, School of Social Sciences, The University of Manchester (Law Dept). I have been interested in the ethico-legal issues around the clinical care of transgender and gender diverse young people since 2005. My latest book, Children and Gender, ethical issues in clinical management of TGDY from early childhood to late adolescence, was published by Oxford University press in 2023.
