Ruth Bromley

Ruth is a GP in Wythenshawe and Professor of Medical Ethics & Health Inequalities at the University of Manchester. She has held various senior leadership roles across the NHS. She has specific expertise in deprivation medicine and is co-lead for LGBTQ+ Affirmation within the medical school programme. She is passionate about humanity within healthcare and her teaching increasingly focuses on how we might learn to sustain ourselves in a complex environment, creating conditions where both patients and practitioners can thrive.
