Chloe Wright is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon specialising in chest contouring and gender-affirming breast surgery, as well as complex breast reconstruction. She trained in breast and reconstructive surgery in the UK, completing advanced fellowships in oncoplastic breast surgery with training in gender-affirming chest procedures before taking up her current NHS consultant post.
Chloe is the lead author of the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) Guidelines for the Care of Trans and Gender Diverse People in Breast Services — the first such national guidance supporting inclusive, evidence-based care. She works across multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, affirming surgical pathways and improve access to high-quality breast and chest services for trans and gender diverse people.
She teaches and speaks nationally on chest contouring, oncoplastic techniques, and inclusive surgical practice, supporting colleagues to deliver equitable care. Her ongoing research focuses on optimising patient experience and surgical outcomes in gender-affirming chest surgery.
