Providing Good Care to Trans Sex Workers: A TransActions Practitioner Toolkit
TransActions is a project with and for trans people who sell sex. We work with people of lived experience, support services and clinicians to co-design resources for community and practitioners with the aim of improving healthcare for trans sex workers. This short talk will provide a brief outline of the TransActions project, and then will present the TransActions Practitioner Toolkit, which has been designed to support services and clinics in welcoming, including and supporting trans sex workers in their work. The talk will outline the toolkit itself and its different components, it will describe the process of co-creating the toolkit and suggest some ways in which it can be incorporated into practice.
