The British association of Gender Identity Specialists is a the largest group of specialists in gender identity healthcare and academia in the British Isles. BAGIS seeks to draw together specialists in the field and, by doing so, advance clinical and academic knowledge and expertise across the area.

We organise an annual symposium which takes place in a different city in the British Isles each year and is attended by many specialists in the field.

Membership is available to those working in the field and those with an interest who do not meet the professional requirements but would like to be part of the association. Members are required to adhere to BAGIS principles as appropriate to their role.
