I am a Specialty Doctor in Adult Gender Medicine for the Laurels Gender Identity Clinic, Exeter, and a person of lived trans experience. I’m a consultant physician in genitourinary medicine by background, and I work closely with the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV on issues such as holistic sexual and gender healthcare for trans people, patient and professional education, and reducing stigma and inequalities. My research interests include HIV prevention and improving PrEP uptake for trans people, managing atrophic vaginitis in transmasculine people, and care of the older trans patient including cancer screening and palliative care.
