Audit of Gamete storage in East of England Gender Service
Gamete storage is a fundamental reproductive right for all individuals, including transgender people. Many trans people desire genetically related children. It is important that clinicians working in trans healthcare advocate and support the right of patients to explore options for fertility preservation. This audit aims to assess the number of patients who have undergone fertility preservation, and to identify missed opportunities, and explore strategies to enhance patient awareness and access to fertility preservation options.
